Lips, Sonic Unleashed, Resistance 2 and Armored Core: For AnswerLips Lips is Microsoft’s long awaited sing-a-long game debut on the Xbox 360. Features include the standard one person sing mode, as well as the option to sing along or against a friend.
Songs are contributed by artists such as Duran Duran, Beyonce and Kaiser Chiefs, with up to 40 more to choose from. If this isn’t enough, there is a freestyle mode that allows a player to plug in their MP3 player and choose a track from it to sing to.
The wireless microphones included in the pack, stylishly light up and have built in motion sensors, allowing a player to gain bonus points if they strike a move mid song.
“Lips opens things up completely, and has Christmas party written all over it”
The game is available only for the Xbox 360 for £44.99 solo and around £55 with microphones.
Sonic Unleashed is a new adventure that sees the well known blue hedgehog, Sonic, racing against time to stop Dr. Eggman’s evil plan to take over the world.
In this instalment, the evil scientist has unleashed a powerful ray that has not only divided the world into several continents, but has also turned Sonic into a were-hedgehog by night.
Fans of the original Sonic games will be pleased to know that day-time levels have a distinct similarity to the 2D versions, but night-time levels will unleash new combat powers and an unexpected storyline.
“Sonic is back to what he does best, super high speed action. But this time he is truly in a world-wide race against time… as the sun sets, a new adventure awakens.”
The game is available on the DS, PS2, Wii and Xbox 360 with prices ranging from £19.99 to £29.99.
However, en-route to a base, the plane is shot down and you are left to find safe passage through a post apocalyptic world. Resistance 2 is again a first person shooter, with a slightly larger array of weaponry and prettier landscapes to admire.
“It's a solid shooter with amazing visuals and a lengthy campaign.”
The game is available on the PS3 for £39.99.
