Kingston University Dance Society will be showcasing some of their latest work at the Space Bar this Wednesday and anyone who fancies strutting their stuff is invited to take part in their battles and competitions.

From Hip-Hop to Tango to Break Dance, the society will be showing off their latest routines and prizes will be awarded to those who impress the judges most with their moves in the battles and competitions.

Music will range from Hip-Hop, Latin, RnB, Old School Hip-Hop and Commercial, there will be plenty of drinks promos and the night will end at Oceana for "a mad after party".

The society ensures it is a night not to be missed: "Bring your best moves to battle, or come just to chill and have a great time with us."

Tickets are on sale now in the reception area of the main building in Penrhyn Road, priced at £2 for society members and £4 for everyone else. Doors open at 7.30pm, make sure you are on time so that you don't miss the show.

Kingston University Dance Society is holding another event on 16th and 17th of December where professional break dancer Alien Ness from Mighty Zulu Kings is holding a workshop which both members and non-members can attend.

On the 16th you can expect to practice your "Footwork and Burners" and you will be perfecting your "Toprock and Getdowns" on the 17th.

The workshops will be held at Kingston College from 6-8pm. Tickets are £10 for one day or £15 for both for non society members. KUDS members get them a bit cheaper at £7 for one day or £10 for both. Places are limited and are on a first come first served basis so book now to avoid disappointment.

Check out the Facebook group for more information.
